What do I do if I have an emergency during regular business hours?

Emergencies can be stressful when they happen to your pet, so if you don’t think to call before bringing your animal in we understand. However, we do appreciate a call so that we can be prepared for your arrival, or to let you know if our Veterinarian is available, as we are a one Veterinarian practice.

What do I do if I have an emergency after regular business hours?

If you have an emergency after regular hours, you may call and leave a voicemail. If Dr. Peterson is available, he will call you back. However, if your emergency if immediate and you can’t wait for a call back, we do recommend you contact an emergency clinic. There are phone numbers on our answering machine with phone numbers for several after-hours clinics that we recommend.

What are your policies on vaccines?

Dogs

  • Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza, Hepatitis – 8, 12, 16 weeks, and then annually.
  • Rabies vaccine at 16 weeks, and then annually.
  • Lepto vaccine at 12 and 16 weeks and then annually.
  • Bordetella vaccine should be given to your dog at 12 and 16 weeks, and then, annually.

Cats

  • Hepatitis, Calicivirus, Chlamydia, Panalukemia – 8, 12, 16 weeks, and then annually.
  • Rabies vaccine at 16 weeks, and then annually.
  • Leukemia – 12, 16 weeks, and then annually.

Do I have to make an appointment?

We do work by appointment. You can call 972-962-8852 to schedule an appointment. You can also request an appointment through your website by selecting “Request An Appointment” under the New Client tab.

Do you allow payment plans?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash and CareCredit for payment. You can apply for CareCredit by scanning the QR Code on our “Payment Options” under the New Client tab.

Which pet care services do you provide?

We are a full-service animal clinic with an onsite surgery suite, in-house laboratory and a pharmacy. We provide wellness and preventive care services such as exams, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick protection, dental cleaning, spay and neuter procedures, and other surgeries. We will also care for your sick or injured pets. We provide boarding services for dogs and cats and we have a full-time groomer.
